On May 15, Astronaut André Kuipers will be onboard on the ISS, International Space Station, shooting everyday picturs of his life in space for Aday.org. In this video Kuipers tells us what an ordinary day is like in space and his passion for photography.
Onboard the space station, Kuipers is working with people from all around the globe: Japan, Russia, Canada and Europe. The collaborative spririt is one of the main reasons for Kuipers to join Aday.org: "These were countries that were involved in hot or cold wars not long ago, and now they are working together doing fantastic things for the future of mankind. So collaboration is very important and that is why I like to participate in this fantastic project."
We also learn how long a day in space is, why photography and cameras are important to have on a space station and what made Kuipers become an astronaut.
