On Thursday May 10, 16.00 CET, we invite you to tune in to a global panel discussion about photography and image gaps.
The Aday.org project puts the spotlight on your everedy life; what you care about, what matters to you, what you think should remembered. That is why we often return to the subject of images gaps and what pictures are rarely shown in media.
Broadcasted live through a Google+ Hangout, a global panel of highly respected voices from the photographic community will share their view on what image gaps are, how they occur and how media in general is handling these gaps.
Joining the panel from their respective home towns:
Hideko Kataoka, Director of Photography Newsweek Japan
Martijn Kleppe, Researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands
Brian Rose, Google+ Photo Community Manager
Paul Weinberg, Senior Curator UCT, South Africa
Paul Hansen, Staff Photographer at DN, Sweden
The moderator of the hangout is Jeppe Wikström, Founder of Aday.org. He will be present live on stage at the Stockholm Media Week.
Tune in tomorrow, 16.00 CET, by going to our G+ Page or our Youtube channel or watch it below!
PS. If you miss the live stream, you will be able to watch the video on youtube later, too.
