The evangelical preacher spends everyday on this corner playing his tambourine, singing and dancing. I am not sure how effective he is at recruiting but he is entertaining to watch.

The Zocalo near the cathedral is usually a gathering place in the city. Rain has run everyone off this day exxcept for (two) photographers and a few latent protestors.

I stated the day down the mountain in the tropical heat of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas. This teenager was having fun riding his bicycle into the Grijalva River.

In trying to live life closer to the bone I try and appreciate my the beings that allow me sustenance. It is not often that I get a reminder quite as graphic as this one.
