Mark is the dad of one my daughter's school friends, he is very involved with the community and run a cafe that provide a family friendly environment.
these are flowers just outside our front door. We have had a very dull, wet, grey and cold spring, with the sun coming out only a couple of days ago. This has resulted in the flowers springing to life with their beautiful colours, a good pay off for the hard work my wife put in order to take care of the flowers
Our bedroom, also a place for long talks before sleep and ideally a place for a nice lie in during weekends, but somebody always keen to spoil this plan. We had it done when we moved into the house and spent 4 months sleeping on a sofa until our beautiful room was completed
This is a section of my darkroom. Here I develop my films and print traditionally black and white photos. It is a place where the time does not exist and 4 hours pass by in a matter of minutes. Though there is still plenty of material available and many practitioners it is a shame companies have drastically reduced or stopped their ranges and many people have moved away from it.
I started to use this wall as a temporary place to stick some family photos but after some years they are still there and no plan to remove them yet. Our daughter loves this corner and often add/remove images and drawings and add speech bubbles to photo of us. On the back wall some experiments we did in the darkroom as she wanted to see how it works, so we printed our hands and some toys on darkroom paper
a section of my work desk in office, screen obviously on aday website. It is a bit like an island in the house, constantly in a state of organized mess. I like surrounding myself with drawings, pictures and the work of other photographers, even if just on a postcard or leaflet or the mermaids drawn by my daughter on post-its
