I take five sorts of medicine: 3 for high pressure, one for allergy and one for thyroid gland
We can take our waste from the garden to a recycling station some days in the week, so I use several bags to put the garden refuse in. As you can see I don´t use the family members´ bicycles so often...
This is the room my daughter lived in when she was a school girl. Some of the oil paintings are hers (3-5 years of age!) and some are mine. The Maria, the mirror and the reproduction are from my aunt´s home. The flag was bought in Strömstad, Sweden, when I was 13th yaers old and joined my classmates on a bus trip from Västerås to Oslo, Norway. The bathing huts are to be seen in Skanör, Sweden. The temperature is always low on this wall.
Swedes get excited when the new potatoes comes to Midsummer. They will eat them with herring and a snaps: "Helan går!" This year the new (VERY small) potatoes was to be found in ICA Supermaket even the 15th of May!
Since many years I often meet Inger on my way to or from the town center. She walks there many, many times a day. She is a kind person and I like to speak to her. She often wear her red coat and the textile bag. Sometimes she wear a red cap too. As many Swedes she has got a "rullator", i.e. a walking frame on wheels, so she is able to walk as long as she wants.
Since I got retired I often follow my husband to his job in Lund. He is still working at 67, but he need some assistance after his stroke about ten years ago and polio in early age. I lend a computer in his office and work with a SHE-magazine. Or - as today- with my photos.
16 years ago I got beeast cancer and had to take away my right breast. This spring they discovered new breast cancer in my left breast. I will have to take radiation and cythostatica.I don´t worry, but feel that I will live!
I often work on my laptop at my husband´s office. I produce FTF Arbetsmiljö an information paper (28-36 pages four times a year) for our Swedish Association for Occupational Safety and Health. There are a lot of information in this field, so we help the members with shorter articles and to find god intenet links.
The wall in my husband´s office. Examples of what he loves most. Our daughter with a koala in her arms in Cairns, Australia. There are water colours from Kristiina Juvas. And look for example on the photo of him in younger days, when he had bleached his beard with strong chemicals to a Christmas party...
