I parked the car and looked out the window to see a beautiful Autumn day with clear blue skies and wonderful sunlight. What a great start to the day!
Upon arriving home from work, I saw my 7 year old son Nicholas reading his school reader to his father who was cooking dinner. Nicholas is currently in Year 2 and was reading a book called 'Eggs'.
Driving home from work, the traffic was quite typical for a Tuesday evening. The days are getting shorter as we approach winter so the drive home is getting increasingly darker. There is still a little light in the sky in this shot, but it didn't last much longer.
I went to visit my sister to watch a movie and her fiance made us a wonderful cup of coffee using beans that he received from a colleague. I thought the packaging was very interesting so snapped a photo, together with the coffee cups that we used. It was delicious and a great way to wind down after a long day at work.
Walking back to my car after work, I noticed the remnants of the wonderful sunset over the tree tops and St Peter's Cathedral steeple. I was pleasantly surprised that a small passenger plane (the BAe 146) flew into my shot.
I walked in the door after work to wonderful aromas of my husband cooking dinner. On the menu tonight was a Vegetable Stir Fry with steamed rice, the whole family loved it!
My youngest son about to eat his dinner. We feel it is important to sit together to share a meal everyday, and once we all return home from work, school and day care, this is our opportunity to share the experiences of our day and spend some quality time together over a meal.
