After a long day at work there's not much time to cook an elaborate meal so about once a week we delve in the freezer and keep it simple. It results in smiles all round.
Where I normally park my bike (though not today as I had to drive to a meeting in a different town). Although it can be frustrating it's good to see that cycling is so common that the shelter is totally full.
I like to cycle to work and back but sometimes if I have a meeting further away I have to drive. Sitting at these traffic lights I felt envious of the cyclist ahead of me especially as it's been rainy lately and this looked liked a nice day to be on a bike.
My son has a bit of a cold, perhaps a bit of hayfever, nothing serious but his nose was a bit itchy and he felt like a sneeze was on its way.
Making the kids packed lunches is more enjoyable when we have nice bright boxes; it also helps to ensure everyone gets the right food! I stack them more or less in the same place each morning but I've never noticed how the toaster pleasingly distorts their reflection.
My daughter likes to press the buzzer when we arrive at the childminder's house. It's not so long ago that I had to lift her up to reach, soon she won't even have to go on tiptoes. It's nice to have a record of how happy she is to arrive at the childminder's who she adores.
I don't know what these surveyors were doing on the roof of the University building where I work. I think they were working rather than studying. The fluorescent jackets caught my eye as I came down the stairs. Before then I'm not sure I could have told you that there was a flat roof outside the window.
