It rained. It poured. All day. Here I was forced to seek shelter near my home under the cover of these beautiful Maple leaves. Just lucky to capture to raindrops too.
On May 15th I ventured out to photograph my world for Aday. It poured rain. All day! Here, however, I managed to capture a bit of sunshine in this Poppy flower among the raindrops.
This is the underside of the bridge which I will cross on my way to Boston MA in June 2012. Once in Boston, I will catch my flight to Gothenburg Sweden to start my new life with my new husband. I thought this photograph was especially poignant, in that Aday is a collaborative effort and forges connections across the world from Sweden. This is my connection from my present home in Westbrook, Connecticut to my new home in Sweden.
Another selection of connections which I was feeling on May 15th. Here is the marina/harbor in my home town... from here I could cross the Atlantic to my new home in Gothenburg Sweden.
